Here
at LOCBID we believe that one of the most important keys to a
successful project is safety. Our employees are hardworking
individuals who deserve to go home to their families each and
every day in the same condition they left them. For this reason
and many more we enforce strict safety practices and procedures.
Each employee is given an orientation introducing him or her to
our company, policies, tools, training and guidance on how
employees are expected to conduct themselves.
Only qualified employees will operate our unique equipment (i.e.
crane, lull, 14” saw, gas powered cut off saw, transit,
laser level and
chain saw).
Toolbox talks are extremely important and the crew is made aware
of the job site safety conditions
Safety meeting are also important these are done to plan for
future safety issues and to review how past issues were handled.
Crane signals and inspection forms are located on each job site.
Also,
each job site has a job folder this folder contains the company
safety plan, emergency response plan, accident and incident
reporting and investigation, disciplinary policy and employee
agreement to follow these policies and procedures.
Our Subcontractors are also required to sign an agreement to
follow our company safety policies and procedures.
